September is Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month. This is an umbrella category which encompasses cervical, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers. Because we have focused on some of these more specifically in the past as well as the broad nature of this group, we give a brief introductory overview of this wide topic including risk factors, treatment and recovery, and more.
